This 2002 Corvette Z06 is finished in Torch Red over black leather and powered by a 5.7-Liter V8 paired with a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Features include pop-up headlights, a head-up display, dual-zone automatic climate control, an onboard computer, and Bose audio with a factory CD player. Modifications are said to consist of long-tube exhaust headers, high-flow catalytic converters, an oil catch can, an ECU tune, a shifter from a C6 Corvette, and wheels from a 2004 Z06. The car was first registered in Oklahoma and spent time in Texas where it was until Sept. 2022 when it was shipped to Las Vegas NV. This C5 Z06 has just under 45k miles and is offered with a windshield sunshade, manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Texas title. The C5 Z06 is distinguishable by its fixed-roof, thinner glass, and less sound deadening material that resulted in a lighter curb weight, and this example is finished in Torch Red. Exterior features include pop-up headlights, Z06 badging, brake vents, and quad exhaust outlets. Paint chips are visible in the front fascia. The 17" and 18" wheels are said to have been sourced from a 2004 Corvette Z06 and wear 265/40 and 295/35 Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport tires that show date codes from 2016. Stopping power is supplied by red-painted brake calipers that are fitted over slotted rotors at each corner. The cabin features seating upholstered in black leather with matching plastics and carpets, the latter of which are protected by Z06-branded floor mats. Amenities include Z06 logos embroidered in the headrests, dual-zone automatic climate control, a head-up display, cruise control, an onboard computer, and Bose audio with a factory CD player. A shifter from a C6 Corvette is also said to have been added. Cracks are visible near the head-up display projector and on the right side of the center console. The seller notes that a rattle is present near the left door. Instrumentation consists of a 200-mph speedometer and a tachometer along with gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The odometer indicates just under 47k-miles. Heads Up Display The 5.7-liter LS6 V8 is said to have been modified with long-tube exhaust headers, high-flow catalytic converters, a billet oil catch can, and an ECU tune. Two front oxygen sensors were replaced. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a six-speed Borg-Warner T56 manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential.
